[Photo Diary] Skirts, Easter Egg,The Hobbit

"Oh! See these beautiful skirts!" Michelle and I always said that when we saw somebody sell the Bohemia pattern skirts, but we didn't even have the guts to spend  890NT on a skirt until THAT day, the day before Japanese students came. Michelle used a common strategy which is really useful that you must learn. The secret is "Two are always stronger than only one" XDDD She bargained a better price successfully. And....here are the skirts! :D

We call them Skirts of Six Steps away because our beds and desks are about six steps far. Just like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants ,we have the sisterhood of the skirts of six steps away and the rules! (I love The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!! <3 ) We can exchange the skirt if we want.  (☆^ー^☆)
Below are the rules:
1.) Don't pick your nose when wearing the skirt
2.) Don't be a caveman
3.) Don't hand-wash the skirt ( The vendor said so)
4.) Do swearing while wearing the skirt
5.) Be a girl, not a bitch
6.) Love your skirt, love your sister <3

I have to confess that we are cavemen. I guess I can get everything done after getting up and leave the dorm in 15 minutes.

I seldom dress girly. I mean in a skirt and wear make-up. Yes, this could be another remarkable date to me. An unbelievable breakthrough will never upset your old friends. Believe me, my junior high school friends are really interested in what I will look like when in a skirt. Maybe, a girl, I think. :P
My curly hair. It is temporary and can last one day long.

Ok! Now let me show you the Easter egg!!
A panorama of Michelle's magical world.    by Michelle
It was still pretty when I finished it. XD
Oops! The sky collapsed!

The Hobbit(the poster and the movie guide book)

Haha, I must tell you how we got the posters.(Oh, we mean Michelle, Glen, and I. Glen is a great fan of The Lord of the Ring and The Hobbit. And Michelle loves Martin Freeman.☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆  )
One day in last semester, we found a fancy Greek restaurant near our university. (Yep, it is right in the Shida night market. If you happen to know this restaurant, go there! This store will never disappoint you!)

Where can you find free movie posters? Just ask!!

[Postcrossing]Postcards from Ukraine and Hong Kong

These are No.114 and No.115
I can't tell which one arrived earlier. They both lay in my mailbox serenely, waiting for me to pick them up.

They look so peaceful!!  It came from Ukraine.
A cute cat card from Hong Kong

Both postcards are about cats! Is that a coincidence?(*≧▽≦)
I learned how to say "beauty" in Russian from the one from Ukraine.(◕‿◕✿)
Beauty is "красоmа" in Russian!

[An Eater] When We Are Together

At first, I only wanted to buy a piece of pie to go. However, my friend suggested that we stay at the store for a while because we were not in a hurry. We could sit down and enjoy these delicious pies. Other than a piece of pie, I ordered a yogurt salad as well. Later on, I regretted ordering that salad. I was too full when I finished the pie and I didn't have extra space for the salad.

(Ok! Now I am going to be not so "formal" in writing. This should be a happy and lovely one! )
See! My friends are so cute!
I love chatting with them. <3

I can't be so serious about my weight.
Fine! Just let it go!!! I don't care!( No...XD)

Once upon a time, there was a teacher who strongly recommended carrot pies of this store. Then, I tried it boldly and found it hard to pick up right words describing the taste. Oh! It was too complicated! Also, this was my first time eating carrot cake so I couldn't do the contrast with carrot cakes that other stores sold. BUT! This is not what I want to tell you today. :P
We had wonderful pies today. Glen and I ordered raspberry & cheese flavor pies.
Michelle wanted to eat OREO flavor pie. That made me recall the test we had on the first day last semester. We had an English writing test, which was used for class distribution. Michelle said she wrote about OREO and that was why now she is taught by an awesome teacher in her writing class. I admit that I am poor at writing. But, I try my best to keep writing in English. I hope someday I can write good English compositions as well as I do in Chinese!!:D
Anyway, I got a very good mood today! Thanks a lots, my friends!!

Sungha, my favorite guitarist

This Tuesday, teacher Jean wanted us to make a sentence " I'll never forget +gerund ........." Then I said to her "I'll never forget going to my favorite guitarist's concert! " How come I forget this touching concert, his proficient fingerstyle skills and his charming smile!

My roommate told me once," You look like a little girl who falls in love crazily EVERYTIME you talk about Sungha!" Yes, I am insane about Sungha's talents (and his cuteness, of course!).

I even went to his first concert in Taiwan last summer!!

          (Sungha Jung's autograph.)

I got butterflies in my stomach when I knew there would be an autograph session right before the concert. Clumsily, I hardly torn the wrapping paper off the album. You can see how nervous I was at that time! When standing in front of him, I barely spoke a single word. The only thing I could do was grinning from ear to ear. Then I acted like a robot,  pointing to the side I wanted him to sign on with my hand trembling and sweating. I have never been so nervous in my life!!

After going his awesome concert, I decided to keep learning how to play the guitar more diligent. Sungha is also my mentor! I can say that his performances encourage me to play this beautiful instrument.。◕‿◕。

This is the the video I first saw Sungha's guitar solo. <3

By the way, these are my guitars. I brought the left one with me. Now it is sitting in my dorm. I left the black one in my house. My younger brother plays it.
They have names. Ben is the larger one while Eli is the smaller one.

[Postcrossing] A postcard from Turkey

(This is the 113th postcard I receive from postcrossing.)

Haghia Sophia or
Ayasofya in Turkish

These two stamps are new to me. I have received cards from Turkey, but I have never seen these! I like the right one which may have a sword and a bunch of wheat. I am not sure. Does anyone know what the stamp is?

 She has a nice handwriting!
Thank you so much for the postcard! :)
